This program discusses the philosophy, diagnostic, and therapeutic techniques of African Traditional Medicine (ATM). The objective of this program is to teach students how to integrate the concepts and techniques of African Medicine into naturopathic practice. This includes applying ATM principles to the human body; appreciating the relationship between the African herbs; and having a deep understanding of the African diagnostic methods. After sound diagnosis, students will learn how to apply various principles and techniques to treat diseases. Techniques learned will include African Acupuncture, herbs, myths and nutrition.
This module is applicable for beginners, Experts, Bachelor's, Master's & Ph.D. (Doctor) Degree Programs. A further option is the enrollment into each of the courses listed within this specialization module. This module may be combined or completed with other modules from this faculty. For example: Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Iridology, Kinesiology, Natural Health Science, Sport Management and Toxicology.
